On the hunt for snazzy summer clothes, but don’t have a ton of cash to drop on them? We definitely have been lately, what with all the fun footwear and experimental makeup trends going on this season. But even though we would love to spend the day shopping up and down Fifth Ave like it ain’t no thang, the fact of the matter is that most of us do not have $500 to drop on a new leather jacket or seasonal flatforms.
Last week, we asked you what your favorite resources for great clothing that won’t break the bank are. So, thanks for all your help! Here’s a compilation of all those wonderful answers (that will likely result in me doing some serious blowout shopping).
1. sugarunicorn: “Forever 21 is my go-to source for cheap, cute plus-size stuff. Finding inexpensive and cute, on-trend clothes in plus-sizes is like finding a damn unicorn.”
2. Suiker: ”eBay forever. I just won a flawless Tucker silk top for $5.”
3. Alexis Rhiannon: “TARGET ALWAYS TARGET FOREVER.”
5. simoneutecht: “H&M love it Uniqlo Modcloth and Zara. Zara’s online has some incredible deals and great kids clothes”
6. Jen Pires: “Body Central, love it”
7. JennyWren: “Uniqlo and H&M (or, as I like to call it, the IKEA of fashion).”
8. Heather C: “H&M and Value Village for cheap vintage. I would say Topshop, but I tend to like the most expensive things.”
9. Hayley Hoover: “I’m a Modcloth and Franchesca’s fan, too. Love my cheap ultra-femme dressy dresses.”
10. CMJ: “Asos and Uniqlo.”
